1. Battery Industry
Manganese Dioxide used in Alkaline batteries as cathode material. It is also used in Lithium ion batteries as well as zinc carbon batteries.
2. Glass and CeramicsIn Glass industries Manganese Dioxide is used as colorant and decolorizer. Its helps in removing Green tint which is normally caused by iron impuritiesFurther, Manganese Dioxide is use to infuse violent, amber and black shades in glass industries.
